How to Write AI Image Prompts
A prompt is not a pile of keywords. It is an executable visual instruction built from purpose, subject, action, environment, composition, light, color, and constraints.
The universal prompt formula
[purpose] + [subject] + [action or state] + [environment] + [composition and camera angle] + [lighting] + [color palette] + [style or medium] + [details] + [constraints]
Start with clarityDefine what the image needs to accomplish and what the primary subject is.
Then control the frameUse shot scale, angle, light, color, and medium to direct how the viewer sees it.
Finally iterateFix the model and ratio, change one variable at a time, and record results.

How to Reverse-Engineer an Image Prompt
Follow a complete workflow for uploading a reference, extracting its visual prompt, generating a new image, and comparing three models with identical instructions.
What this guide covers
REFERENCE → ANALYSIS → PROMPT → REGENERATE → MODEL COMPARISON
Analyze the referenceUse a reusable template to extract subject, scene, composition, lighting, color, typography, and materials.
Generate a new imageTurn the analysis into an executable prompt that preserves the visual language while creating new content.
Compare three modelsKeep the prompt and 16:9 ratio fixed across Seedream 5.0 Pro, ChatGPT Image 2, and Imagen 3.
